I want to make a wizard but since hurling spells seems challenging in early game I am thinking about "splashing some rogue levels.".
The idea is to take Rogue starting class for that sweet bonus learning point per level and go fire mage for runes and magic power.
While getting there, sacrifice some learning points for weapon skill (40% for achiv) and Dexterity.
The question is, is it a good idea? Will sacrificing points for weapon skill gonna pay for itself if my main goal will be casting spells at endgame or is it better to just suck up early game and go Mage class and focus on 100% casting?
