Actually i do have in mind a class and even a restyle if you consent to let me say my point of view.
Classes are really awesome but the paladin really shines when he's a mage, not a warrior.
It is still my favorite class because the gameplay repays so much the player to have survieved from the ch 2, and hands down Renovation Ch2 is the hardest Ch2 from any gothic 2 mods by far, going back to the valley is not an heroic mission, is a death march that no one intends to do and you are even the one poor wretch that has been thrown unwillingly in that living hell by the paladins.
Going back to the valley as a militia, with Rosencratz track "mine valley pass" gives everytime to me chills.
By the way once you come back from the mission you really feel innos has chosen you to at least buy time to save khorinis ass from the unavoidable destiny, and the strike of faith is the really best signature as a blessed god warrior, but it only shines if you have a huge mana pool.
So why don't you divide this class faction, if you start as a mage you can become a paladin, if you start as a warrior you become a templar, a crusader.
Like i said in the other post, when you join a faction you get access to the faction weapons ( the demon weapons, the oriental weapons, the fire swords, the magick blades, the hammers, the staves from the mages) from ch 1 and while finding materials and crafting new blades, handlers gems, whatever you see more fit you let the player improve the wepon form lv 1 to whatever you want as the game goes on and you let also the player even unlock the second damage ( fire, magick-ice, pure ) or a new skill ( death sentence, ignite, freeze and so on) like the upgrading of the Katana, Naginata, that can even reach Lv 3 by the first ch.
And since the Volendrug repays so much a character with high raw strength it will be the main weapon of the crusader, with faction abilities like "improved def for x second, improved critical for y second".

this is about the restyle, and this can happen even for the mercenary since a mage that join Lee really shines only once you get access to Finnestris weapons and this is kind of sad, sooo...

A mage that joins again Lee can become a Spell knight and in ch 3 a Warlock - Arcanist.
The spell knight revolves around the ability that for x time he can bind to the weapon fire or ice damage for x seconds, improved haste improved criticals but loses the ability vampirism ( i do really love vampirism but like the sleeper amulet is just too op for the first chapter, i already know that those are signature abilities and let the player really feel how much the gameplay is different, i know and i love it, but they are too imbalanced) and a warrior or a bandit that join lee became a dragon hunter with vampirism.
The most important thing is the mana pool and all the elixir, or x amount of health or mana essence, extract, elixir are used to imbue your faction weapon with magical properties: 100 mana essence give plus 10 magick damage, 100 health essence gives 10 fire damage and for x seconds faction magic improves the 1st and the 2nd damage for y seconds, so you have a steady improving throughout the whole game of the main weapon with materials, and with abilities you have mproved damages for a short time.

You even made a wonderfull work with alchemy mechanic, no other mod have a so much a developed feature, and since to reach Master level you have to brew 1000 potion, why don't you let use those wasted potion to enhance your weapon?
The strength of the faction wapon is based on what kind of elixir or what kind of herb ( dragon rooth or goblin berry ) the main character choose to imbue in the main weapon.
As a mage you can skill or dex or str as your main attribute and in this way you can conjure a strong rapier or you can evolve your faction weapon, you can have the properties for x amount of time of Hanna's ch 3 manticore sword ( fire dex for example) or like the salamander TSSS SSSS HSAAA sword ( strength magic sword from the dungeon in the valley of mine).

I edited a couple of time my idea of the Spell Knight

Время на расчеты, время на реализацию и время на тесты... Моего времени, да и моих сил просто не хватит на все это.
А самая идея интересна.

And i have like 3 or 4 more classes in my mind ;D;D;D.
The fact that you made a wonderful job making the artefaktor is more than enough !!!:flower:

Oh my god... OH MY GOD

like the nameless one you are called maybe one day to accomplish such a mortal task ;D.
Part of the work i think is already done since you have the model of some weapon already in you mod like the manticore or tss sss saa, you can palette the weapons or we can ask also the permission to use the models of Lobos to his author, he has a really beautiful new weapons, really stunning im not kidding.
The biggest part is how to manage the level weapon curve throughout the game...
I always tought that Lee faction since New Balance was the lamest faction even though they are my favorite group. Yes, you can get the strongest weapons but still something was missing. Lee and Kord were helping the water mages since ever and to think that those mages would not help lee with their magick or to help someone that belonged to the ring of the water was to me unthinkable.

The biggest part would be: how to improve the weapon steadily throughout the game? what would be the resources? what about the faction magick skill and faction magick ability

For the damage of the weapon
I tought that since you are a mage and you wil brew a stupid amount of potion you can use them in large quantities ( 50- 100 mana or health essence or 35 25 extract or 10 15 common elixirs not the permanent ) + Scrolls to permanently improve the elemental damage by + 10 at the alchemy table or at the rune table.
The anvil can be used to improve the wapon damage using heart of golems and STR or DEX plants.
Also here the big part of the work is already done since enemies in Khorinis have already enough magic and fire reistance so to have a + 30 both in fire and magick damage means you have brewed 300-600 potion so the first chapter and the second chapter still will be big spike. I would prefer to have both damage altogheter.
I would prefer the have at least 10 level in the main weapon level curve to improve it frequently in all the chapters and to let be the forging mechanic even more important.
similary to improve the damage for the artefaktor rune staff you need crucial items such the faust weapon from the cult leader or inubis head and so on.
The biggest part is how to manage all this in the first 3 chapters

For the ability
As i said you lose completely the vampirism BUT you have first at ch1 25% to both ignite for x second and froze for y second the enemy.
I throw some ideas as abilities, i do think it must be the class that most relies on mana as a melee, Woolin modify at your own will the mechanics.

-Soul Sacrifice : you deal more damage as long you have mana pool, you deal 10 more damage eveytime but the activation is 5 mana point eveytime. The ability can be improved chapter wise.
-Soul Syphoon: evey enemy killed restore 20-25 mana point.
-Moon and Star ( like Nervar from Morrowind HAHAHAHAHAHAH ): the nameless can both frooze and ignite 25% of the times for x second the freezing and ignite for y seconds the enemy, the ability can be improved chapter wise. and increase both the percentage and the time of the malus status.
-( after you become a Warlock in ch 3 ) Arald Of The Balance(the nameless faction signature skill like the paladin Strike of Faith): for 45 seconds you deal 50 more damage on both fire and magic and the ability to improve it by x amount of time or y amount of damage has a mana treshold like 500 1st lv 750 2nd lv 1000 3trd.
-( after you become a Warlock ) Adanos Unavoidable Will : enemies have both magic and fire resistance halved.

After slaying all the enemies the voice of Vatras in the background says "And never again... shall you walk upon my land..." LOL

The Spell Knight lose completely the oppotunity to use the demon wapons and the oriental weapons ( otherwise doing altogheter magic, fire, pure would be imbalanced as hell )

The nameless can become a Spell Knight only after killing dexter and asking to became a real Ring of Water warrior and i would even throw here and there some achievements that gives permament + 10 mana or something since is the class that must have more mana of all the classes. You will not be strong or dextours as a dragon hunter, but all the mana and fire plus magic damage and the all the crowd control ability completely overcome the gap because freezing the enemy is already an overkill ability and combined with aereobatic means you became a boss destroyer.
I ALWAYS tought that Lee mercenary class must be different alot from the militia: they are THE MERCENARIS, they KNOW way better HOW to fight, they must be more agile and faster than a full metal tank, dish more damage and be way more dangerous in close combat.
If you join them you have to be a complete menace in close combat.
I would even throw a quest to learn to improve fire and magic skill from the fire mage in innos basement and from Myxir or Nefarious.
In this way also the scroll writing perk has a meaning since to improve the raw or the second damages you need x amount of scrolls and the world offers only y amount, so you are forced to write them.

The ending stats would be something like
200 - 300 in both DEX and STR
750 - 1000 Health
1250 - 2000 Mana

i forgot, you can't have access also to the dragon hunter ore weapon since they already do Magick damage.
