How did you do that? I tried to run the game on the integrated card in order to check if this causing your issue. I simply cannot. Whatever i did - the game runs on Nvidia card anyway.
would suggest you to check
1. check your system. Is the Nvidia card installed properly? Is there any error messages in your system? What is you laptop brand? I had some issues with my GTX 1660 Ti - system simply refused to see it and everything was running on integrated card.
2. Update driver if the card is installed properly
3. Check carefully your installation process, did you click to install directX?

I set everything up in the Nvidia Control Panel. The system is not reporting any bugs / updates to me at this time. I updated my graphics card yesterday. I have a laptop from HP.

I have everything currently updated.

Today I tried to install everything again, but I didn't put DirectX in the R2 setup. Is it worth trying again? It didn't work before and there was no file anywhere.

Well. I don't know what to do anymore. You can delete Directx X and just play with ultra settings, the game looks good as it is. You can install a different version of direct x from Liker.

Still, thank you for your ideas, I also tried from Liker, but nothing.
I would like Nvidia to work on Gothic at least, as I have an average of 30 fps on integrated.

@Don Puh, so I updated the drivers, also reinstall package (I installed x64 and x86 version), I installed the latest version of the render.
When I tried to update DirectX, it told me that I already have the latest version there.

I tried to run the game but I have again the same error. I really don't know anymore.

Did you try to install without vcredist x86? For windows 10 you have 64 bit system, you do not need 32bit c++ package.
Try that. But try to install on clean gothic from scratch. Uninstall it- literally everything related to G2, clean all folders related to that manually, clean it with program (like Ccleaner or so) reboot and try to install again

And be sure this is installed properly - DirectX-jun2010_redist
It is likely something went wrong with this

It's really about blasting. I did everything according to the instructions + according to your advice and still the same.
But there is one interesting thing. When I delete ddraw.dll file, open the game and do CTRL + ALT + DELETE - Task Manager - the game crashes and I get this error -> X: XD3D_InitPerDX: Can´t create D3DX context! Error: DDERR_UNSUPPORTEDMODE

I tried a little bit there according to the instructions, but still nothing. dgVoodoo worked for me in the game, but the still integrated card was still activated + DX did not work. I give up. Thanks to everyone for the help.

As a last option. If you have any other programm on your laptop that require discrete graphic card. IS it work there? If so, may be it would be a good idea then to Ask HP support, maybe they can find an answer why you cannot use discrete card on your laptop

So imagine - I decided to install the Odyssey mod before I turned it on, I had the Gothic reset to a dedicated card and look - Nvidia was already in the settings!
However, when I tried older and newer GD3D11 there, it still reported the same error. But I have Lhiver graphics there, at least something.
