I am trying to reinstall AB on a new laptop to continue my playthrough (old one crashed). I am following the instructions to install it but somehow can't make it work, game crashes when loading a save file or starting a new game. I have done the following steps:
1) Install G2 Gold from GOG (not on Program Files)
2) Install all pre-requisite software from Returning installer and then install Returning, ticking Russian version installation, RAM extension, update of library, Fonts for high resolution
3) Copy DX 11 Liker to System folder, copy AB mod and then AB scripts to game folder, copy RET2_Scripts_Patch.vdf and AB_Scripts_en.vdf to Data folder, copy AB_Translation.lbr to System folder and run RET2_0066Rev2.1_googlepatch
I used the same files to install it on my old laptop and it worked perfectly, but I can't remember if I did something else as it was years ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
