I find it strange that the magic ore jewelry crafted in Chapter 4 provides resistance to slashing damage—the most common and necessary type—while the black ore jewelry from Chapter 5 offers resistance to piercing damage, which is far less useful. I'd like to ask what the reasoning behind this decision was.
And wouldn't it be possible to change the resistances on that crafted jewelry to slashing resistance instead?

You're not telling the truth. If you make a ring or an amulet out of an emerald, there will always be protection from piercing at all levels. Slashing is only on ruby. If you want to have slashing everywhere, then no.

Так как амулет на милика, то логично было бы дать защиту от рубящего, как на всей линейке силовой рубиновой бижутерии.
