I was wondering whether in your opinion is it ever worth killing the thieves for the short term reward (3LP). Especially for mage / strength builds and at high difficulties where LP are scarce to begin with.

I'd say it's worth for mage / strength builds in terms of time. Also you'll get a jewelry crafting much earlier. Otherwise don't harm these poor npc, amigo. It's matter of time, not a profit. 3 lp (for real yea) is not so much tbh.

As far as I remember, going through their quests does not provide any permanent bonuses except for dex and some gold, correct?
