I'm playing with spears and I'm wondering if it's worth learning the Lightning Seal, given that spears already have powerful armor penetration. If the spear already has 90% armor reduction, will the seal reduce the enemy's armor beyond 100%? How does it work?

For example. You’re fighting someone with 500 defence. Lightning Seal reduces enemies protection by 20%, that means, after 3 consecutive attacks your target loses 100 for unlimited time. Your spear with 90% armor pen now is calculating from 400 target defence.
Is that good for you or not? Idk, probably not.

Not worthy IMO, same time it's a lot of fun to have LE with that trident spear(with additional lightning proc chance effect) , BUT. BUT - in a late game it is 100% not worthy at all. You better pick fire or frost. My reacent playtru was done with frost one - and honestly it's just OP.

I also think it's better to equip an Ice or Fire enchantment with a spear. I think Lightning would be best with two-handed swords, which deal the most damage.

2h sword/axe or polearm - or or, like i'm doing right now with x2 swords. Late game version of those swords ( axes ) will have on it some ARP so - in addition to that, some more ARP from ecnhant, is supper dope in my opinion.
Only one thing i like more about frost enchant in copmare to lightning - is consistency of procs. With frost one - that "frostynes", or whatever the name is for that perk, prok more often than that lightning strike from perk tree of a lightning enchant. And also dmg from frost is higher on basic attacks, and that prok is just double the dmg. But with lightings it's 3 or 4 times from normal hit's additional dmg.
So honestly - over all dps will be pretty much the same with both EoL and EoF. But frost just more consistant.
