В процессе halberd and undead fighting [poison]

Hello, I would like to play as demon hunter [uks+di+beliar rage] with poisons [as a melee] with halberds. Is possible to kill undeads with this weapon and make sance combine this weapon with poisons or is better axe, or different two handed weapon ? thank you

As I read it the poison damage is based on weapon's slashing damage and doesn't depend on the weapon type itself be it axe, halberd or something else. There is a specific poison for the undead, I think you can get it in chapter 4 after solving the Lotar's murder.

Thank you, I know it is possible. But not sure if it is playable for this Settings.
